Description
Jersey's became iconic pretty much from day one of its opening. The mission was to create dishes based on the Great State of New Jersey and honour the foods made in family restaurants back home. Jersey's then began receiving accolades for its foods and the people started coming in droves. When Jersey's was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives the bottle was officially uncorked.
The Executive Chef wanted to create a quicker and more accessible joint reminiscent of the places he ate at back home. Jeet? was to be the Take Away version of Jersey's. Jeet? is everything that Jersey's is about, but a different alternative to the corporate chain sub shops that are out there.
Oh, and where did the name come from? In South Jersey and Philadelphia the word means "Did you eat?". So, the next time you are hungry ask your friend, "Jeet?" and come on over and respond< "No, d ju?" Just make sure you make it sound Italian Mobster.
