Description
The Mineshaft Saloon opened its doors in June of 1992 and has been a part of the Broad Ripple scene ever since. The 2000 square foot venue was a dance-floor centered venue for over twenty years, but recently underwent a total remodel in which it went to the nature of its name and became a true saloon.
The renovations included removing the dance floor and replacing it with a multi-use area. Nine new booths were added along with all new furniture. Edison-light fixtures supply the lighting ambience and the slate floors, barn wood and brick walls, a granite bartop, along with classic-style artwork, give the Mineshaft a true old-style saloon feel.
The Dj has been replaced with a state-of-the-art Music Video system and music-formatting is aimed at alternative and classic rock along with mellow electronica, 70′s, 80′s and 90′s. The Mineshaft Saloon wants to be that perfect place to just hang out.
If you're looking for a tasty bite, the new Mineshaft menu specializes in thin-crust pizza and 8 varieties of delicious sliders, along with sweet potato fries.
Mineshaft Saloon is open Wednesday through Saturday and is also available for private events and parties.
